Meetings planners in Kuyavia and Pomerania

The next day, the participants visited the ”Zawisza” stadium, which has been adapted for hosting big sporting and entertainment events. Another attraction prepared for the participants was a flight over the whole region, enabling them to admire the landscapes and towns. After the lunch break, the Fam Trip participants moved to Toruń – a city famous for the production of gingerbread, and the city of origin of Nicolaus Copernicus. After city sightseeing, everyone was able to bake gingerbread themselves, following the traditional recipe in the real-life Gingerbread Museum. In the evening, there was a dinner, during which the process of beer brewing was demonstrated in the Jan Olbracht Browar Staromiejski restaurant.

The third day was launched with an opportunity for the guests to check their automotive skills at the Toruń Driving Academy. After such an abundance of entertainment, the guests were invited to visit Ciechocinek – a health resort famous for the biggest wooden graduation towers in Europe. The next part of the day was dedicated to relaxation in the water facility, with saline drawn directly from Ciechocinek springs in the Villa Park Med & SPA Hotel. The day ended, and the sporting emotions completed, with a visit to the Moto Arena in Toruń, where the guests could watch a speedway event from the VIP zone. A presentation of the Toruń Convention Bureau was also shown.

Within the campaign, launched a year prior to UEFA EURO 2012TM, five Fam Trip events have been organised in specific towns and regions:

  • Warsaw
  • Kraków and Małopolska
  • Silesia
  • Gdańsk and the region
  • the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship

In total, 39 planners from three priority markets took part in these events. In 2013 another three FAM TRIP events are planned addressed also for planners from Belgian and Scandinavian markets.
