President of the Polish Tourism Organisation Robert Andrzejczyk attended a meeting of the Polish Congress Ambassador Clubs held in Warsaw on 24 November upon the occasion of TT Warsaw.

In September 2017 for the first time in history Poland welcomed more than 100,000 visitors from the Middle Kingdom.

The Polish Tourism Organisation was awarded in the “Homo Turisticus” competition for the second best, most original, and professional stand at the 25th anniversary edition of TT Warsaw. Jury chairperson Jagoda Walczak of Wiadomości Turystyczne presented a statuette and a diploma to Robert Andrzejczyk, President of the Polish Tourism Organisation.

At the ceremonial gala opening the International Travel Show TT Warsaw President of the Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna – POT) Robert Andrzejczyk presented the organisers with a special statuette. The award went to TT Warsaw in recognition of 25 years of work devoted to the development of tourism and the promotion of Poland. Minister of Sport and Tourism Witold Bańka, vice-ministers, members of Parliament, ambassadors, and numerous representatives of the tourism industry also attended the gala.

The 15th Anniversary Gala of the Best Tourist Product - POT Certificate competition is over. The Polish Tourism Organisation honoured ten best tourist products of the year with special awards and presented the most important prize – the POT Golden Certificate.

TC Touristik & Caravaning Leipzig takes place in Leipzig on 22-26 November. The event is attended also by the Polish Tourism Organisation, which arranged a stand featuring an extensive offer of, i.a. active, culture, and spa & wellness tourism as well as camping and caravanning.

The 33rd edition of Salon International du Tourisme et des Voyages in Colmar, one of the most recognizable events of its sort in France, has ended. For many years this fair, organized in mid-November, wraps up the French tourism market season.

Jury members of the “Fietsroute van het Jaar” (Cycle Route of the Year) competition, organised upon the initiative of Fiets en Wandelbeurs, the largest cycling and walking fair, announced nominees to this year’s award for the cycle route of the year.

The title of a conference organised by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism with the cooperation of the Polish Tourism Organisation was: “The Vistula and its potential in the development of tourist brands”. Anna Księżnik from the Department of Tourist Products and Regional Cooperation gave a presentation about the POT Certificates product brand.

On 5-7 November 2019 the International Congress Centre in Katowice will became the world anti-doping centre. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) decided to hold the World Conference on Doping in Sport in the Polish city.
