The fourth edition of the “Poland See More - Weekend at Half Price” campaign organized by the Polish Tourism Organization in cooperation with the Ministry of Sport and Tourism is underway. The recruitment of industry partners has just started and the campaign finale is to take place on the weekend of 9-11 March.  

A seminar on health tourism was a special element of the program of the Polish offer at the TravelMatch tourism industry workshops in Oslo. Poland was a partner country at the event’s seventh edition.

After a several-year-long interval the Polish Tourism Organisation returned to the annual Vakanz fair in Luxembourg. In the course of three days the fair - the only such event organised in the Duchy - attracted more than 200 exhibitors and 29,000 visitors.

The Council of the Polish Tourism Organisation met in Toruń at the first session held this year. The chief topic of the debates was a plan of promoting Poland and Polish tourism, which the Organisation intends to realize in 2018. Additional information concerned selected domestic promotion campaigns.  

The Ferienmesse Wien tourism fair organised by Reed Exhibitions Messe Wien is underway in Vienna. The Polish Tourism Organisation arranged a national stand featuring the diverse tourist offer of our country.    

“The number of Dutch tourists visiting Poland grows each year and you are already a recognized brand in our country”, Igno van Waesberghe, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland in Amsterdam, stressed in a speech given at the Vakantiebeurs fair in Utrecht.

Studies conducted by the Polish Tourist Organisation show that in 2017 almost all foreign visitors to Poland were pleased with their stay in our country. Such declarations were made by 96% of respondents who filled in questionnaires in January-December last year.

This year’s last session of Council of the sixth term of the Polish Tourism Organisation took place in Kazimierz Dolny on 14-15 December. The Council unanimously accepted changes in the POT Statute. The session was attended by President of the Polish Tourism Organisation Robert Andrzejczyk.

Already for the fourth time the Polish Tourism Organisation International Office in Amsterdam announced the winner of the “Vriend van Polen” annual award. The title is bestowed upon journalists particularly distinguished for describing the tourist merits of Poland.  

The “2017 - the Year of Tourism” conference held by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism in Warsaw on 19 December was dedicated to summaries and plans for the next year. A meeting with representatives of the tourism industry and the media was attended by, i.a. Vice-Minister of Sport and Tourism Dariusz Rogowski and President of the Polish Tourist Organisation Robert Andrzejczyk.
