Łódź is one of the most important cultural centres in Poland, and the only Polish city to be a part of the Réseau Art Nouveau Network. Numerous museums attract with their exhibitions, such as the only Museum of Cinematography in Poland, or Łódź Art Museum, which has one of the richest and most interesting collections of 20th and 21st century art in Europe, as well as galleries, theatres, cinemas, or Łódź Philharmonic.
International festivals take place in Łódź on a regular basis, including FashionPhilosophy, Design Festival, Light Move Festival, Łódź Four Cultures Festival, International Ballet Festival, International Festival of Comics and Games, Forum of European Cinema Cinergia, Mediaschool Festival (International Festival of Film and Television Schools), International Triennial of Textile Arts, Explorers Festival, Alexandre Tansman International Festival of Music Individualities, or International Festival of Photography.
