
Between 1 and 3 April 2014 three Roadshow presentations took place on the Indian market in Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi. They were attended by tour operators, representatives of the meetings industry and journalists.
Poland was represented by Holiday Travel, Haxel Events & Incentive, Furnel Travel, Melody Tours, Poland Tour, Płock Local Tourist Organisation – ChopinTravel.pl. A series of presentations of the Polish Tourist Organisation, bilateral talks in the form of workshops and briefing for journalists were held during each of the meetings.
From India the workshops were attended by ca. 200 tour operators and journalists, of which ca. 30% were specialised companies dealing with meetings industry and incentive travels.
Mr. Sebastian Domżalski Head of Economic Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in New Delhi participated in the meeting and opened the event in the capital city of India.

Roadshow meetings with the industry provide a very good opportunity to establish direct business contacts, present Poland, win new meetings and invite tour operators and journalists to take part in study visits. The series of presentations organised on Asian markets is held under the „I like Poland” project is co-financed from the EU funds under Measure 6.3 of the OPIE.
