Poznań is a major railway hub offering easy domestic and international access. It can be reached within three hours either from Berlin or from the equidistant Polish capital city of Warsaw.
The railway station stands in the city centre near the grounds of the Poznań International Fair. Trains arriving in Poznań stop at the Central Station made up of two buildings, the Main Hall and Central Station West, linked by an underground tunnel. The facilities house retail outlets, cafés and restaurants as well as travel information and Internet-access points.
