On 18 March 2011, already for the sixth time, Vistula Univeristy (previous University of Economics and Computer Science) was hosting the IMEX-MPI Future Leaders Forum Warsaw 2011(FLF).
120 students from higher-education institutions in Katowice, Kraków, Szczecin, Wrocław, and Warsaw, who joined the meeting and had the chance to get acquainted with the opportunities created by business tourism and see the latest trends in this field.
The participants in FLF Warsaw 2011 took part in the IMEX University Challenge for the prize of a ticket to the IMEX fair in Frankfurt, with opportunities to win participation in the World Education Congress, to be held in Orlando this July.
The speakers at the conference include experts from all over Europe – Dale Hudson (IMEX), Ruud Janssen (TNOC), Jurriaen Sleijster (MCI), Christian Mutschlechner (Vienna Convention Bureau), Miguel Neves (SYNAXIS), David Bancroft-Turner (Matrix Training) oraz Wojciech Liszka (Radisson BLU Hotel Krakow).
The conference’s patrons are IMEX – the largest fair of the meetings industry, and MPI – Meeting Professionals International, a community of business tourism experts. Once again local support is provided by the Convention Bureau of Poland, a division of the Polish Tourist Organisation.
FLF Warsaw was supported by IMEX’11 – the largest meetings and events industry show and MPI – Meeting Profesionals International, global association for meetings professionals and its local branch MPI Poland Club. Locally forum was supported bz Convention Bureau of Poland Polish Tourist Organisation.
Forum was transmitted online via bankier.tv and has been watched by 2000 people and in addition new competition was organized. The winne won 1-year The Green Meeting Industry Council (GMIC) membership.
– Conference FLF Warsaw 2011 is one the 63 forums, which were organized since 2003 worldwide. In total more than 4000 students have taken part in them and in Poland it is the only possibility like this for students. – comments Krzysztof Celuch.
