On 26-27 October 2011 a study visit preceding the Utilities Telecom Council European Conference took place. UTC has over 750 corporate and association members, who provide innovative telecommunications solutions to support their activities. Warsaw, which faced Amsterdam in the finals, was chosen to hold the conference in 2012.
The visit included a presentation of hotels which meet the requirements of the conference – Marriott, Sheraton, and Hilton, as well as other interesting venues for conferences and official dinners, including the Palace of Culture and Science, the Warsaw University of Technology, the Kubicki Arcades, the Primate’s Palace, the Bank of Poland Redoubt, the „Fabryka Trzciny” building, and the Soho Factory in the Praga district.
There was also time to get to know Warsaw and its history, during sightseeing in the Old Town, the Castle and the Royal Baths.
