Thanks to the efforts of the Poland Convention Bureau and the Kraków Convention Bureau, for the first time in Poland, in Kraków between 27 and 31 August, the ECM Summer School will be organised – providing training to people starting their career in the meetings industry. The agenda includes workshops on such issues as winning clients, using the ICCA and UIA databases, and the basics of the operations of the Convention Bureaux and its associations, as well as methods for effectively answering queries.
The ECM Summer School is organised annually in various European cities for the employees of Convention Bureaux, national tourist organisations, conference centres, hotels, and the PCO and DMC companies. Its aim is to popularise knowledge and capabilities with regard to the latest marketing tools, which are essential to effectively manage events in the meetings industry.
