LOGOBUIA

We are the first Polish organisation to have become a member of the Union of International Associations, which specialises in researching, monitoring, and providing information on international organisations, associations and their global activities.

The Union of International Associations (UIA) is a research institute and documentation centre located in Brussels, established in 1907 by the progenitors of information science.

Besides conducting research activities, the UIA also publishes, inter alia, the international congress calendar, an annual meetings report and a list of international organisations. Other activities include running an online organisation database and meetings calendar, and CSR projects.

To become a member of the Union of International Associations, organisations, foundations, companies, and individuals must be interested in its activities and goals and declare support for and participation in them. Furthermore, each year, the 250 most active individual members are nominated at the General Assembly. This international distinction is in recognition of their dedication to long-standing international activity.

“The UIA is the oldest organisation running an international meetings calendar. Being a member of this prestigious association, we would like to become even more active in securing congresses for Poland. I hope this is another step in this direction” –  commented the Manager of CBP PTO, Krzysztof Celuch.
