On 19 April 2011 in London another presentation in the series Roadshow „Polska. Move your imagination” took place. The roadshow is addressed to meeting planners from the priority markets, and its main assumption is to establish direct trade contacts through representatives of the Polish meetings industry.
The element emphasising the slogan of the presentation “Polska. Move your imagination” was the place of the meeting itself – the Imagination Gallery. The Imagination Gallery is a special facility linking Victorian style with modernity, located in the very centre of London’s West End, which is called a place of unlimited possibilities.
The partners in the presentation were Gdańsk Convention Bureau (the Main Partner), the Warsaw Convention Bureau, Mazurkas Travel (Warsaw), Symposium Cracovience (Kraków) and Grupa Trip (Zakopane). The roadshow was in the form of a workshop, during which the Guests became familiar with the Partners’ portfolio in individual meetings.
The workshop was attended by 32 British meeting planners, professionally selected by Cat Publications, a publisher of specialist magazines, commissioned by the Convention Bureau of Poland.
The Roadshow in London was positively received both by participants and organisers:
Jay Munro-Michell (ETOA – The European Tour Operators Association): “Thank you for the invitation and the opportunity to participate in the meeting with representatives of the Polish meetings industry. I am fully satisfied with the establishing of some valuable contacts and I strongly believe that this meeting was equally profitable for all its participants”.
Aneta Książek (The Convention Bureau of Poland): “Organising the Roadshow is an excellent opportunity to establish trade contacts and to present our business partners both from the public and private sectors. This way the Convention Bureau of Poland serves as an intermediary between foreign clients and Polish business partners.”
The next presentation, closing the implementation of the Roadshow „Polska. Move your imagination” project in 2011, is scheduled for 5 May in Paris.
