The first publication on the Polish market to attempt to define the size of the convention market is now available. Poland Meetings and Events Industry Report 2010 is the first step undertaken by the Convention Bureau of Poland POT to characterize business tourism in Poland.
Cooperation with regional and civic Convention Bureaux in Poland as well as with the Warsaw School of Economics has lead to the publication of characteristics of 4000 conventions that took place in Poland in 2009. We heartily invite you to read this literature!
The meetings industry, generating substantial revenue for local authorities, it is an increasingly important part of business, political and economic game. This Report identifies the actual number of meetings and events in particular towns covered by city and regional Convention Bureaux (in Poland) and provides basis for collecting data and conducting professional surveys demonstrating business tourism in full light.
