On 17 March 2011 the 2nd GENERAL ASSEMBLY & ANNUAL CONFERENCE MPI POLAND CHAPTER “Reboot your business – a chance to work differently” took place in Warsaw in the Radisson Blu Centrum hotel.
The meeting started with the election of the new MPI Poland Club Management Board for the years 2011-2013, in which people with an active MPI member status will took part. An open conference with the participation of the best and qualified speakers from the meetings industry, among whom are Jurriaen Sleijster (MCI), Ruud Janssen (TNOC), Miguel Neves (SYNAXIS) and Dale Hudson (IMEX), was held from 11.00 a.m.
The issues discussed at the March conference was devoted to the future of the meetings industry and its latest trends. Speakers and participants wondered on whether small companies will surpass the large ones in procuring events. The still recurring and invariably significant subject of social network media was also feature. The issue of virtual meetings (videoconferences) was presented in a completely new light.
