The summary of the statistical data provided by the congress and incentive travel organisers recommended by the POLAND Convention Bureau of the Polish Tourist Organisation indicates that there was a significant increase in the number of meetings and events organised in 2010 compared with 2009.
The more than 1193 meetings which were organised by 15 entities was almost a 100% increase over the 600 meetings which were listed in the previous year. 52% were corporate events, 34% congresses and conferences. The largest number of meetings took place in September, October, and November. The most participants attended business meetings in March.
All data was submitted by the recommended organisers, who deal in the servicing of professional meetings and events in Poland.
