2 October 2011 saw the conclusion of the first Fam Trip event organised by the Poland Convention Bureau of the Polish Tourist Organisation under the image – product campaign on three markets, aiming at presenting Poland in an interesting, less business-related, way.
8 participants from priority markets – France, Germany and the United Kingdom – got to know Warsaw’s history, attractions and culture.
The stay began with a sightseeing trip around Warsaw, but the next day held even greater attractions – discovering the Copernicus Science Centre, attending a Chopin recital, and taking part in the sensational Off Golf. These are some of the products promoted in the campaign, dedicated to the general consumer market.
Participants also visited the Warsaw Praga district, riding a historic tram, and attended a cooking course at the Kurt Scheller Academy, which ended with a jointly-prepared lunch.
The greatest surprise, however, was the visit to the stadium of one of Warsaw’s football clubs, featuring a freestyle football show by Krzysztof Golonka – World Freestyle Football Champion 2011! All participants were given the opportunity to try out their own skills under the master’s guidance, and finally, received official UEFA EURO 2012 footballs!
