On January 18, 2011, the Conrad hotel in Brussels hosted the „Union of Tourism Boards Brussels yearly MICE Workshop”. The Poland’s business tourism offer was presented by the representatives of the Polish National Tourist Office in Brussels and the Convention Bureau of Poland Polish Tourism Organisation.
The meeting on a business subject matter was organised for the first time and preceded the annual meeting of the national tourist information centres with the media, which enjoys great popularity. Among presenters at this year’s workshop there were national tourism organisations, hotels and travel offices, which were visited by more than 120 reporters and 30 convention industry professionals from Belgium and the Netherlands: the representatives from the corporations, the associations and also the business event organisers, including the motivational conferences and travel.
The Convention Bureau of Poland POT’s participation in the „Union of Tourism Boards Brussels yearly MICE Workshop” was a good opportunity to establish direct business contacts. The most interesting ones may result in a possibility to organise a medical conference in June 2011 for 700 people in Warsaw.
The Polish stand presented the „Unique venues in Poland” catalogue and the latest„ Poland meetings and events industry report 2010”.
