On 13 May 2011, at 8 sharp, the participants in the campaign Back to the Garden took off for the Foster Home in the Wesoła District. In the group of volunteers there were representatives of the Warsaw meetings industry ready to support the local community through direct involvement.
The concept behind the campaign Back to the Garden is to put the grounds of the Foster Home in the Wesoła District in Warsaw (revitalised a year before during the CSR IMEX Challenge Poland 2010 project) in order after the winter. The campaign’s initiator is the Convention Bureau of Poland. PIM ART Landscape Architecture Studio will be leading the works in the garden, Salad Story will serve refreshing gardener’s snacks, and hands for work will be generously provided by employees of the EXPO XXI Centre, the Polonia Palace and Warsaw Marriott hotels, the Starwood Hotels and Resorts in Poland, the organisers of Haxel Events & Incentive, Incentive Concept Poland, and Mazurkas Travel, the MICE Poland magazine, the Warsaw Convention Bureau, and the Convention Bureau of Poland of the Polish Tourist Organisation.
The fruitful work of the leaders of the Polish meetings industry was rewarded with broad smiles of children and the gratitude of their Parents.
The Convention Bureau of Poland PTO wishes to thank all participants for their voluntary involvement in the campaign Back to the Garden.
