On 28 January of this year the Convention Bureau of Poland and the Warsaw Convention Bureau organised a study visit for a representative of Global Conference Organisers. GCO operates on the market of the Benelux countries and its activities involve organising international congresses and conferences for medical associations.
The aim of the visit was to confirm that Warsaw is capable of organising the orthopaedic conference for 700 people which is planned for June 2011.
The visit involved the presentation of the resources of the Royal Castle, The Kubicki Arcades, the Fortress, the Main Auditorium of the Warsaw University of Technology, the Warsaw Congress Centre (The Palace of Culture and Science) and the hotels Marriott, Hilton, and InterContinental.
All the places visited won the admiration of our guest. The venue for the conference and accompanying events will be confirmed soon.
