On 12 May 2011, the board of the Boathouse restaurant in Warsaw will host a conference by the seaside, entitled “Sea Stories” and organised by the Gdańsk Convention Bureau. The target participants are the representatives of Warsaw companies responsible for the organisation of conferences and business events across Poland.
The intention of the Gdańsk Convention Bureau is to encourage industry in Warsaw to arrange meetings in the Pomerania region. The organisers guarantee that new conference venues will be demonstrated in a unique way, with an individual presentation of guests from Pomerania – hotel owners, representatives of tourist facilities, and event experts.
“I cannot reveal all the details about our plans, but I promise there will be plenty of surprises. The interior of the restaurant is going to be refurnished to resemble a luxurious yacht, while the hotel and conference infrastructure of the marine capital of Poland will be presented by an actor from one of the tri-city’s theatres, invited specially for this occasion.” – said Anna Górska, Head of the Gdańsk Convention Bureau.
The participants in the conference will draw for attractive prizes, i.a. vouchers for Pomeranian hotels and for the Gdańsk-Sopot-Gdynia Tourist Card.
The Vice-Mayor of the City of Gdańsk, Andrzej Bojanowski, has confirmed his participation in the conference. The list of invited guests further includes the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Mieczysław Struk, and Members of the Gdańsk Tourist Organisation
