On 10 October the Polish Tourist Organisation headquarters hosted a session of the Chapter of the Polish Congress Ambassadors Programme. The mission of the Project Chapter is to select a body of Polish Congress Ambassadors – personalities who in their international environments will popularise the knowledge of our country’s assets, contributing to its growth.
6 members of the Chapter took part in the session, and a further 6, who could not make it to the meeting in person, voted by electronic means.
The session was attended by:

Jerzy Chmiel – Vice-President of the International Council of Organisations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Art,
On the part of Programme organisers, the chapter included Bartłomiej Walas, Vice-President of the Polish Tourist Organisation, Robert Kępiński – Director of the Marketing Planning Department, PTO, Piotr Wilczek, President of the Conferences and Congresses in Poland Association, and Irena Sokołowska, Vice-President of The Conferences and Congresses in Poland Association.

Krzysztof Celuch, representing the Poland Convention Bureau of the PTO also participated. The Chapter’s Secretary is Aneta Książek, who also represents the Poland Convention Bureau of the PTO.
Out of 16 questionnaires submitted by city convention bureaux, higher education institutions and industry entities, the Chapter elected 14 new Polish Congress Ambassadors by a majority vote.
