Poland Convention Bureau was created in 2002 as a department of Polish Tourism Organisation and is responsible for the promotion of Poland as an attractive destination for meetings and business events.
We are the first contact for anyone seeking information on business partners and conference facilities, who is planning to organize association congress or a corporate event in Poland.
Our main goal is to build the image of Poland as an attractive country for organising of all types of business events. We realize our mission through:
participating in international business fairs, which results in gaining new business contacts;
organising study tours for foreign journalists and organizers of meetings and business events, including conferences, congresses, product launches, incentives;
gaining new business events for Poland;
cooperating with foreign media and posting articles and advertisements promoting Poland as a business destination in business press and directories;
cooperating with city convention bureaux;
networking with Polish business sector within Recommendation Program for Professional Congress Organizers, Recommendation Program for Incentive Travel Companies;
networking with the Polish scientific community within Polish Congress Ambassadors Program;
cooperating with international organisations and associations of meeting industry professionals;
collection and elaboration of statistical data on Polish meeting industry, in accordance with the recommendations of international organisations such as ICCA - International Congress and Convention Association and the UIA - Union of International Associations, engaged in similar rankings.

Krakow Convention Bureau (KCB) is embarking on a new journey with a fresh brand positioning and communication strategy: "Know-How, City, Business." This narrative aims to establish Krakow as the preferred destination for international events, congresses, and conferences by highlighting its robust MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) competencies and extensive conference infrastructure. The objective is to tailor the tone to meet the demands of contemporary event organizers who seek added value in what the city has to offer, even "after hours."
Polish Tourism Organisation – Poland Convention Bureau, the Polish Conference and Congress Association (SKKP) and the Silesia Convention Bureau will co-organise the Polish Congress Ambassadors Gala on 21 March 2024. The event will celebrate the Ambassadors of Polish Congresses who were selected by the Jury last year.

IMEX Frankfurt trade fair stands as one of the pivotal events in the meetings industry, attracting participants from across the globe annually. Poland is set to be represented at this year's fair edition, scheduled to take place at Messe Frankfurt from May 14th to 16th. From the beginning of the year, work has been underway on the publication of the 15th edition of the Meetings and Events Industry Report in Poland. At this stage, the Poland Convention Bureau, together with professional congress organizers, professional organizers of incentive travel, as well as city and regional Convention Bureaux, are collecting data from across Poland. Last week, the MCE Central & Eastern Europe forum took place, marking the first event in the Europe Congress series. In Salzburg, Poland was represented on the suppliers' side by the Poland Convention Bureau POT, Mazovia Convention Bureau, Silesia Convention Bureau, and the International Congress Center in Katowice. The event brought together over 200 event planners and suppliers, offering an excellent opportunity for networking and business discussions.

On January 10th, another edition of the Event Industry Forum (FBE) took place at Expo XXI Warsaw, with the participation of 256 attendees, 136 exhibitors, two stages, and 29 presentations under the theme "Events of the Future." The event concluded with the Charitable Gala Elfy SBE. Poland Convention Bureau was actively involved, participating in numerous meetings.
