About PCB

Poland Convention Bureau was created in 2002 as a department of the Polish Tourism Organisation and is responsible for the promotion of Poland as an attractive destination for meetings and business events.

We are the first contact for anyone seeking information on business partners and conference facilities who is planning to organise an association congress or a corporate event in Poland.

Our main goal is to build the image of Poland as an attractive country for organising of all types of business events. We realise our mission through:

  • participating in international business fairs, which results in gaining new business contacts;
  • organising study tours for foreign journalists and organisers of meetings and business events, including conferences, congresses, product launches, incentives;
  • gaining new business events for Poland;
  • cooperating with foreign media and posting articles and advertisements promoting Poland as a business destination in business press and directories;
  • cooperating with city convention bureaux;
  • networking with the Polish business sector within the Recommendation Program for  Professional Congress Organisers, Recommendation Program for Incentive Travel Companies;
  • networking with the Polish scientific community within the Polish Congress Ambassadors Program;
  • cooperating with international organisations and associations of meeting industry professionals;
  • collection and elaboration of statistical data on the Polish meeting industry, by the recommendations of international organisations such as ICCA - International Congress and Convention Association and the UIA - Union of International Associations, engaged in similar rankings.

Eventprofs Creators Lab

Eventprofs Creators Lab at the 5th European Tourism Forum in Wroclaw

This time, the Eventprofs Creators Lab visited Wroclaw. From December 4th to 5th, 2023, the Tourism Department of the Academy of Physical Education named after Polish Olympians organized the 5th European Tourism Forum in collaboration with the Wroclaw Convention Bureau and the Wroclaw Tourist Organization. On the second day, the Digital Marketing in Tourism workshop* was led by Jarosław Marciuk from the Polish Tourism Organisation - Poland Convention Bureau. The event took place both at the Academy and at the Novotel & ibis Wroclaw Centrum Hotel.

A Local Congress Ambassadors Club was established in Łódź

The inauguration of the next Local Congress Ambassadors Club took place in Łódź on October 26, 2023. A collaborative agreement was signed by Łódź Tourism Organisation, under which operates Łódź Convention Bureau, Poland Convention Bureau of the Polish Tourism Organisation, and the Association of Conferences and Congresses in Poland. This marks the fifth local club operating in Poland.

Poland moved up to the 20th place globally in the UIA 2023 ranking

Poland went up three positions and was listed 20th in the latest UIA ranking – the International Meetings Statistics Report.
