Polish Tourism Organisation invited The Independent journalist Helen Coffey to Wrocław. In turn, a group of journalists from the U.K. and the Republic of Ireland stayed in Warsaw as part of a fam trip.

Polish Tourism Organisation was the guest of honour of the tourism trade show staged in Evian-les-Bains (Southeastern France) on 5-7 April. The Polish stand also promoted LOT Polish Airlines, Poland’s flag carrier.

Polish Tourism Organisation took part in The Travel and Vacation Show in Ottawa, one of Canada’s largest tourism events.

Polish Tourism Organisation participated in a series of promotional events organized by HCG International Travel Group and intended to present the 2019 trip portfolio of travel bureaus. The Polish offer placed particular emphasis on Warsaw, Kraków, the Tri-City and Wrocław.

Busko-Zdrój hosted the latest initiative held as part of a campaign promoting inbound health tourism. This time the town hosted a group of Polish American journalists, who met with representatives of the health resort, sanatoria and hotels.

On 12-13 March representatives of national tourism organisations of Visegrad Group member states met in the Slovakian resort of Štrbské Pleso to work out a marketing plan promoting the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. On the next day ministers in charge of tourism adopted the plan with an estimated 2019 budget of 300,000 EUR. The meeting involved Minister Anna Krupka and Robert Andrzejczyk, President of Polish Tourism Organisation.

The 22nd edition of the FERIE FOR ALLE international travel fair, second largest event of this kind to be staged in Scandinavia, was held in in the Danish city of Herning in late February.  

Polish Tourism Organisation participated in Guangzhou International Travel Fair (GITF) held on 21-23 February. From the viewpoint of Polish tourist offer, the event provided an opportunity to reach more than 30,000 people involved in Middle Kingdom’s tourism sector. What is more, Poland was recognized with the Most Distinctive Tourist Destination Award.

The successful efforts of Polish Tourism Organisation working together with Wrocław Convention Bureau will bring this year’s overseas conference of Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO) to Wrocław.
