Tarnów hosted the IV Polish World Economic Forum. About 200 guests representing 30 countries and debating on i.a. tourism, global economy and cooperation between the Polonia and Polish entrepreneurs, organisations and institutions attended the two-day event. The Forum was held under the honorary patronage of the President of Polish Tourism Organisation.

Five female journalists from Ukraine spent three days touring the region of Podlasie. Active tourism constituted the leitmotif of the trip arranged by Polish Tourism Organisation and the Local Tourism Organisation by the Bug.

“Poland. Spice up your travel!”, the new food-themed campaign of Polish Tourism Organisation, is intended to encourage tourists from Western Europe and Russia to enjoy a culinary tour of our country. A trip of this sort offers a great way to explore Polish traditions from the perspective of cuisine.

On 8-14 August 2019 Polish Tourism Organisation staged a fam trip for one of the leading Brazilian tour operators - the Schultz agency.

Polish Tourism Organisation actively participated in the Tall Ships’ Races staged in Denmark and Norway.

Virtuoso Travel Week, one of the largest and most prestigious events of North America’s tourism industry, was staged in Las Vegas and attracted a total of 6,500 participants: travel agents, tour operators, service providers and national tourism organisations. POT was present to promote Poland along with other countries of the Visegrad Group (V4).

"Dynamic, attractive and trendy” - this is how a five-page report on Warsaw begins in the July issue of French trade magazine Voyages d'Affaires. The article is the result of cooperation between Polish Tourism Organisation and the monthly’s editorial staff.

The 60 Million Congress, one of the largest events of the Polish American community, was staged in Buffalo, New York. Polish Tourism Organisation was represented by Magdalena Żelazowska, Head of its International Office in New York.

A meeting between Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna - POT) representatives and delegates of the Chinese Henan province was mostly dedicated to cooperation and development in the field of tourism and examples of solutions implemented by POT.  

Polish Tourism Organisation took part in the NATAS Holidays fair, where - together with LOT Polish Airlines - it represented Poland as the event’s destination partner. NATAS Holidays took place in Singapore on 2-4 August.
