POT enters into cooperation agreement with the Historical Hotels of Poland Association

Polish Tourism Organisation established cooperation with the Historical Hotels of Poland Association. The promotion of castles and palaces is among POT’s strategic goals. Entering into cooperation agreement with Poland’s largest organisation associating hotels of the discussed kind constitutes the latest step towards an efficient implementation of the strategy.

It also acts as a prelude to long-term operations intended to promote tourism based on Poland’s historical heritage. The agreement in question predominantly relates to organisation of familiarisation trips aimed at journalists and tour operators, as well as collaboration on other promotional undertakings arranged by Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna – POT). Furthermore, the database of the Polish System of Tourist Information will now include all 42 hotels operating as part of the Association together with their logos.

“Attracted by their truly one-of-a-kind character, foreign tourists are increasingly frequently interested in stays in historical hotels. Renovated venues keep up with the latest requirements and on many occasions provide remarkably high-quality services. I am very glad to see Polish Tourism Organisation establish close cooperation with an association representing precisely this group of hotels, especially since the promotion of palaces, castles and historical tourism is an integral component of POT’s long-term strategy. I am looking forward to a successful cooperation”, said President of POT Robert Andrzejczyk.

“I am very pleased with signing the agreement. I am positive that joint operations will consequently intensify the promotion of our country. The Association represents 48 hotels, where you can experience the climate of bygone centuries, tradition and history. It goes without saying that this sort of exceptional venues is exactly what the guests are looking for. More than a place to relax, they also act as one-of-a-kind tourist highlight”, adds Bożena Szok, President of Historical Hotels of Poland Association.

The agreement between Polish Tourism Organisation and the Historical Hotels of Poland Association was signed for a period of three years.
