American Airlines, one of the largest North American carriers, announced the launch of a direct flight from Chicago to Kraków. POT joined a number of promotional undertakings intended to boost the awareness of Poland’s tourism attractiveness among the airline’s customers and business partners.  

Polish Tourism Organisation was invited by the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the European Union to take part in the 2nd edition of Polska Food Festival. The event was opened by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski. Andrzej Sadoś, permanent representative of the Republic of Poland, welcomed the festival’s guests of honour.

Polish Tourism Organisation worked with Pomeranian Regional Tourist Organisation to stage a five-day stay of French bloggers in Poland. The influencers visited, i.a. Gdańsk, Sopot and Malbork.  

Polish Tourism Organisation in cooperation with the Polish Institute in Vienna hosted the latest presentation dedicated to “Poland and its wintertime highlights”. The event staged on 19 November showcased “Winter in Poland - the Polish mountains”.

The annual Abend Gala organised by Corps Touristique Austria took place in Vienna's Ferstel Palace. Polish Tourism Organisation participated in a ceremonious meeting with delegates of the Austrian tourism industry.

“Poland. Spice up your travel!” food show in Kazakhstan capital

Brussels hosted the already eleventh gala show of the “Pole of the Year in Belgium” competition. Winners received awards in four categories, with one of them - Award of the Polish community - presented by Dominika Szulc, head of the Brussels-based Polish Tourism Organisation International Office. POT regularly supports the discussed event.

The first edition of the European Travel Agent Forum was staged in Poznań on 10-14 November. Close to 100 U.S. travel agencies specialising in selling European destinations met with the Old World tourism industry. Polish Tourism Organisation and LOT Polish Airlines acted as the event’s partners.

Polish Tourism Organisation participated in the AITO 2019 conference of the Association of Independent Tour Operators, whose latest edition was brought to Wrocław thanks to the joint efforts of POT and Wrocław Convention Bureau.

POT attended TTG Travel Experience, staged in Rimini on 9-11 October, to promote Polish entrepreneurs representing tourist industry, traditional and regional cuisine, and Poland’s enotourism-related potential.
