In light of the changing global situation relating to the COVID-19 virus, after consultation with key stakeholders and listening to the industry, organisers of Arabian Travel Market decided to postpone the event to 2021.

The Polish government has launched the latest stage of lifting restrictions connected with the COVID-19 pandemic. 4 May marks the reopening of hotels and accommodation facilities. In consultation with the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, the Ministry of Development prepared guidelines for the venues’ operations in accordance with enhanced health and safety standards.

Polish Tourism Organisation supports the #CityWillWait project of local tourism organisations run by cities. Aimed at the domestic and international market, the campaign promotes highlights and tourism venues of Poland’s major metropolises.

Companies representing broadly defined tourism industry can now offer vouchers for future travel to compensate for tourism events, accommodation and other services cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic. Do not cancel - postpone! There is no risk involved. The voucher shall be valid for a year from the original date of the tourism event for which a given client has already paid. In the case of trips, it is also possible to change the designated destination. Poland is a beautiful country that will wait for you!

We all love the season of holidays and vacations, with many of us recently adopting travelling as a hobby. All the more reason to combine forces in these challenging times and join the “Postpone your travel, don’t cancel. Let’s support the tourism industry!” initiative. Polish Tourism Organisation took part in the Fiets en Wandelbeurs trade show in the Dutch city of Utrecht, where it focused on promoting the new Velo Małopolska cycling trails and regions crossed by Green Velo.

For the first time ever Polish Tourism Organisation took part in TourismA 2020 in Florence, an exhibition dedicated to cultural and archaeological tourism.

For three days starting with Sunday 9 February, Poland presented its offer at BIT in Milan. The region of Dolny Śląsk (Lower Silesia) attended the exhibition for the first time along with one of its most noteworthy must-sees - Książ Castle.
