In June and July, the European Travel Commission actively promoted travel to Poland. The campaign is the result of an agreement between the Polish Tourism Organisation and the European Travel Commission reached at the May summit in Ljubljana in connection to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and its impact on the domestic tourism industry.

On 18 June, the 2022 Polish Festival was held in the Shibuya Stream Hall culture and business complex in Tokyo, organised by the Polish Institute in close cooperation with the Polish Embassy and the Polish Tourism Organisation. This was already the 14th edition of this major event promoting Poland in Japan.

The Polish Tourism Organisation has launched the 19th edition of the competition for the Best Tourism Product. The winners will be recognised with prestigious PTO Certificates and valuable promotional support.

The historic building of the Palazzo della Borsa in Genoa, Italy, served as the venue for a networking event for representatives of business, tourism and culture. The Polish Tourism Organisation was there presenting tourist and cultural attractions of our country.

The blogger Anoushka Probyn and the influencer couple Brock and Betty visited Małopolska, invited by the Polish Tourism Organisation. The trip was an opportunity to discover Kraków’s history and culinary heritage, and to explore the picturesque trails in the Tatras.

In cooperation with the European Travel Commission, the Polish Tourism Organisation has launched a new chapter of the “Europe invites the curious” campaign, aimed at the US market. The goal of the campaign is to promote trips to our country from the American continent, mainly among those interested in experience tourism.  

Between 24 May 2022 and 8 June 2022, the Scandinavian branches of LOT Polish Airlines, in cooperation with the International Office of the Polish Tourism Organisation in Stockholm, carried out a series of promotional events called "Walk A LOT", targeted at the local tourism industry.

At the beginning of June, the Polish Tourism Organisation organised the "Poland Roadshow 2022", in which six Polish regions presented their offer in four European capitals: Prague, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest.

In May, the Polish Tourism Organisation took part in the first ever Trail & Hike Event. The goal of this two-day open-air event was to promote active tourism to a dedicated audience: fans of mountain hikes and rock-climbing.

The Polish Tourism Organisation is directing tourists' attention to rural areas, which are one of the post-pandemic travel trends. Until the end of June, the murals in Warsaw and Cracow will encourage people to REset close to nature.
