The 19th edition of the Best Tourism Product competition is on!

For many years now, the Polish Tourism Organisation has been running a competition for the Best Tourism Product. Its goal is to improve the quality and competitiveness of the tourist offer by creating products that not only stand out as tourist attractions, but are innovative, tourist-friendly and offer many different ways of spending free time.

The PTO Certificates are the most important awards in the industry. Such a certificate is a recommendation and guarantee of the highest level of service. It also enhances the value of a tourist product, strengthens its position among offers for customers, making the brand of a given product recognisable throughout the country or even abroad.

The PTO Certificates are awarded to tourist products that belong to one of the following categories: recurring event, package of tourist services – tourist event, object, trail, site – area. Tourism products entered into the competition apply for several types of certificates. The most prestigious and exciting one is the Gold Certificate. It can be awarded to a tourist product in recognition of an exceptional development in its activity, no earlier than three years after the date it was awarded its PTO Certificate in the first place. Last year, it went to the Hydropolis Centre for Environmental Education in Wrocław. The jury also grants a Special Certificate to a product which has had a relatively short presence on the market (less than two years), but shows great potential.

“Prestige, quality assurance and exceptional space promotion – PTO Certificates are justly considered the most important prize in the industry. I encourage you to apply for this recognition because, as the winners of the previous editions have shown, it is a huge support for the development of our country’s destination and tourist offer,” said Rafał Szmytke, President of PTO.

All certified tourist products will be included in the promotional programme of the Polish Tourism Organisation. The prize for the winner of the Gold Certificate is a promotional campaign worth 200,000 PLN.
