Gdańsk: Tri-City Active Tour

DURATION: 5-6 hours, PAX: 100, ORGANIZER: Travel Projekt

The Tri-City guarantees a wonderful holiday at any time of the year, and its rich history combined with beautiful beaches can be an arena of excellent active programs. The day starts with a group photo on Długi Targ Street, and then, divided into several smaller groups, we bike to Sopot. On the way we drive through the historical part of Gdańsk connected with the Solidarity movement and its legendary leader, Lech Wałęsa, former President of Poland and Nobel Peace Prize winner. We also get to know the history of Günter Grass, a world-famous writer, born in Gdańsk, just in the Wrzeszcz district, through which we pass. We continue our trip to Sopot, one of the favourite Baltic resorts of tourists from all over the world. We say goodbye to our bikes and „walk into the sea” the longest and most beutiful wooden pier in Europe. A glass of champagne tastes here exceptionally refreshing. Walking on the sandy beach we get to the place of our next activities. Here a special chill-out zone awaits us with lots of attractions, including beach-volleyball, frisbee, petanque, badminton and colourful kites. The main attraction of the meeting on the beach is the construction of wooden boats, and the aim of each team is to launch their own boat and make a short parade along the beach. All the party is accompanied by excellent music, sailor's snacks and delicious drinks. After a day full of fun in great moods we return by ship to Gdansk to continue exploring this fantastic former Hanseatic pearl.
