Polish Tourism Organisation concluded a series of webinars for the Italian tourism industry. Involving presentations of themed routes available in particular Polish regions, the project took into account the specific character of the post-COVID-19 market.

Staged as part of a virtual edition of the Festival of Diplomacy on 26 October, the Polish-themed “Aperitif at the Embassy” event acted as an opportunity to promote the diversity, cuisine and natural assets of the region of Podlasie.

Polish Tourism Organisation partnered up with the Le Journal de l’Evasion travel portal to conduct a campaign promoting Warsaw and Kraków in Belgian media. Both cities offer direct flights to Belgium.

The China-Central and Eastern European Countries’ Tourism Coordination Centre announced winners of the second edition of the Marco Polo Tourism Award. Gold diploma went to Funclub Sp. z o. o., a Polish travel agency based in Poznań, and the Honorary Mention to Sheraton Grand Warsaw.

Polish Tourism Organisation joined forces with Silesian Tourism Organisation and Municipality of Kraków to arrange a fam trip for journalists representing the Hungarian portal Mozgasvilag. The visit was intended to promote bike tourism in Poland.

As a result of cooperation between Polish Tourism Organisation, Wrocław City Office and Lower Silesia’s Marshal Office, in early October a group of twenty Dutch tour operators and agents explored the main highlights of Wrocław and the region of Lower Silesia (Dolny Śląsk).

An online workshop intended to introduce Nordic travel industry to the highlights of destinations such as the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary were staged in the second half of September 2020. Ten professionals hailing from various segments of the tourism sector represented each of the involved countries.

Ministry of Development and Polish Tourism Organisation encourage tourism sector actors to participate in the first international competition for Baltic Sea Region Sustainable Tourism Awards: Promoting Sustainable and Competitive Tourism in the Baltic Sea Region.

Poland was among the 28 countries participating in the annual Embassy Festival promoting destinations, their highlights, culture and customs among residents of The Hague, capital of the province of South Holland. Diplomatic representatives of countries from all over the world attend the event and compete with each other in showcases, workshops and presentations intended to encourage guests to learn more about cultural and tourist assets. Each year the highly popular event attracts 50,000 visitors.

Polish Tourism Organisation actively promoted our country as an attractive tourist destination at the 84th edition of the International General Exhibition Fiera del Levante hosted by the Italian city of Bari. As part of the event, our promotional materials were distributed at the Polish Desk staged on 5-7 October.
