On 12-13 November, the Poland Convention Bureau POT has taken part in the meeting industry fair BTC – Business Technology Center in Florence. The fair has been planned within the framework of the presentations for 35 Italian organisers of meetings and events, which was held on 12 November at the fair. Polish partners of the event included Convention Bureau Wrocław and DMC Poland – recommended organiser of meetings and events. Małgorzata Furdal – the Director of Polish National Tourist Office opened the presentation.
The presentation ended with a lunch break, during which the participants were given the opportunity to meet and commence business contacts and cooperation. During the two days of the event, the Polish stand raised great interest and more than 20 business meetings were held.
The meeting was held as a part of a campaign focusing on three European priority markets. Further events implemented under the project will include a presentation in Barcelona which will precede the EIBTM fair. Also a study visit for the representative of the Spanish meeting industry will be held in December.
