The EIBTM International Meeting Industry Fair in Barcelona ended on 21 November. This annual event brought together more than 3000 exhibitors and 4 000 hosted buyers. Poland Convention Bureau POT, organiser of the Polish national stand, conducted more than 40 individual meetings and 9 group presentations, attended by a total of 87persons interested in the organisation of meetings and events in Poland.
Poland’s participation in the EIBTM was accompanied by a wide-ranging promotional campaign which could not go unnoticed. The PCB POT logo and invitation to our stand was placed on each ID card. Moreover, advertisements were published in the Show Daily magazine, fair catalogue, on the website of the fair and in front of the main entrance to the building. PCB POT was also the partner of educational events – EIBTM Forum and the premiere presentation of the Trends Watch report, where the presentations of PCB POT were also held.
On 20 November a promotional event Happy Hour has been held at the Polish stand, preceded by a energising musical invitation held that morning at the entrance to the Fair. Live music, comfortable and informal atmosphere facilitated the conclusion of new business contacts. The guests were given the opportunity to take part in a lottery and win prizes including visits to Poland and small gifts from Polish exhibitors.
