“I like Poland” in Japan

japonia_roadshowOn 10 – 13 September 2013, within the “I like Poland” project, the Asian markets saw a third roadshow presentation, conducted jointly for the tourism industry and for the organizers of events and meetings in Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo. The companies representing industry associations: Maestro Meetings&Incentives, Teja Tur and Holiday Travel presented the Polish convention industry. Representatives of Regional and Local Tourism Organisations (RTO and LTO) included: Furnel Travel International, Poland Tour, Local Tourist Organisation of Płock, Profi – Tour oraz Melody Tours.

 

The number of Japanese representatives of the tourism industry, the convention industry and journalists that participated in the 3 presentations reached about 100 people.

Thereby we completed a series of presentations in the Asian markets in 2013. The roadshow formula included both the presentations of business tourism as well as devoting time to workshops and individual business contacts. The programme of each presentation included a quiz about Poland, with the prizes in the form of small gifts and a weekend stays in Poland, offered by the Polish partners.

The presentations were organized by the Polish Tourist Information Office in Japan. The “I like Poland” project is co-financed from the European Union Funds under Action 6.3 IOIE 2007-2013.
