During the Covid-19 pandemic remote channels of contact have become the foundation for our daily communication. That is why, in cooperation with the POT International Offices and municipal Convention Bureaux, we are conducting intense promotional activities online, targeted at the representatives of the meeting industry, in order to maintain interest in Poland and build trust among meeting and event planners.
For many years, the German market has been one of the most important markets generating foreign tourist traffic in Poland. At the beginning of the year, following last year’s MICE by Melody workshop, the POT International Office in Berlin began working with PeC-Kommunikation, a marketing agency which has been involved in MICE marketing for more than a decade.
As part of the year-long cooperation, a website dedicated to Poland (https://polen.miceboard.com/) was created. It provides access to key information and industry contacts in Poland, i.e. industry research and reports, case studies, new product and site presentations, infographics, interviews with experts and the Poland Online Site Inspection catalogue.
In content marketing, a successful plan is not just about writing articles. Instead, it tries to take account of different types of content. This allows our brand to communicate with customers who spend time in various online marketing channels. Therefore, news from our NEWSROOM will also end up in social media via PeC-Kommunikation under the MICEBoard brand.
“Content is king”, said famously Bill Gates in 1996, which essentially should be understood as an investment in a high quality content that will attract and catch the eye of the internet users, drawing their attention to our profile.
We encourage everyone, who is willing, to share important information about your activities. The entire meeting industry should make a strong case for face-to-face meetings, building on the unique benefits of live events and limitations of the virtual ones. Safe travels, business and entertainment events can be organised with the help of professional event organisers, event and incentive travel agencies, as well as carriers and a whole network of related services.
The NEWSROOM will feature articles in German, but please send us information in English as well (including photos, links, etc.).
We know that the use of appropriate hashtags is one of the key ways of acquiring customers - followers. In order to obtain new ones, you need to choose the right hashtags to accompany the posts you publish on your profile. We encourage you to apply the hashtags used by Poland Convention Bureau POT as part of the promotional campaign at IBTM World 2021 under the title #PolandWeAreMeetingAgain, as well as to follow and support the newly launched page at LinkedIn, dedicated to the project #DestinationPoland which has been run since 2021 with the support of the PCB POT by SITE Poland (www.linkedin.com).
Last but not least, we encourage you to use the hashtag #eventprofspl because each of us can be an ambassador of our brand or destination, and together, we build the strength of the Polish meeting industry.
