We are pleased to announce that Krzysztof Celuch, the Manager of the Poland Convention Bureau of Polish Tourist Organisation, has been elected for a 3-year term of office on the International Board of Directors of MPI (Meeting Professionals International). He is the first Polish person to enter the world’s biggest association assembling professional meeting organisers during its 40 years of functioning. MPI unites over 22 thousand members involved in the meetings industry in 87 countries. In total, 12 people sit on the International Board of Directors and they will facilitate the development of the organisation in the years to come.
On 6-7 June, the first session of the old and the new board took place, where the budget and the marketing plan of the organisation were discussed.
According to Erick Rozenberg, MPI chairman of the International Governance and Nominating Committee, the most significant factors in the selection of candidates were their skills and qualifications. What makes us even more pleased is that the Manager of PCB POT, and the first Pole ever, has been so greatly appreciated by the world team of experts in the meetings industry.
