On 25 June 2012 the Poland Convention Bureau of the Polish Tourist Organisation participated in the workshop entitled “4 Destination Presentation” organised by BBTonline at the Holiday Inn Airport hotel in Brussels. The workshop covered a presentation of 4 different countries, which additionally attracted participants who could get to know 4 unique destinations at one event. Poland was accompanied by Nice, Croatia, and Canada. The meeting was attended by more than 50 selected representatives of associations, companies, and agencies from the meetings industry on the Belgian market (hosted buyers), who were divided into groups and took turns to see 4 presentations, each 25 minutes long.
During the time dedicated to the “interactive” presentation, the Poland Convention Bureau of the Polish Tourist Organisation invited 2 industry partners representing Gdańsk and the region to jointly present Poland: Gdańsk CVB – Marta Wiśniewska and the recommended agency – Teja Tur – Elżbieta Trella.
The Polish presentation was also supported by the Director of the Polish Tourist Information Centre in Brussels, Dominika Szulc.
Food and drinks were provided in the evening, and there was an opportunity to network with the invited guests and take part in a lottery in which participants could win a voucher for a trip to Gdańsk sponsored by the Polish partners of the presentation.
