We are delighted to announce that the third edition of the ”Poland Meetings and Events Industry Report” has been published! This year’s launch of the publication will be held during the IMEX fair in Frankfurt.
More than 27 thousand meetings, value-added income from the sales of hotel services amounting to over PLN 637 million, and as many as 10,000 jobs provided by the hotels within the analysed cities – these are only the highlight facts pointed out in the report.
Cooperation with regional Convention Bureaux in Poland, conference facilities, the Warsaw School of Economics and the Jagiellonian University, has made it possible for Poland Convention Bureau of the Polish Tourist Organisation to publish a description of the meetings and events that were held in Poland in 2011. Some of the novelties in this year’s issue include new cities and regions covered by the study, as well as the fact that it was prepared in cooperation with academic circles.
The report specifies the number of meetings and events held in the respective cities and regions where Convention Bureaux and other facilities operate. It provides the groundwork for the analysis of the Polish meetings industry and for its collective promotion.
