MeetingPlanner.pl, a platform for the events industry, has announced the MP Power Awards – a contest for the best events project and the most influential personalities in the meeting industry. Besides selecting top professionals, the contest is to build awareness of the value of tools such as event marketing and incentive travel, and to highlight the effectiveness of marketing and communication activities in this area. The deadline for submitting applications is 1 November, and the award ceremony has been scheduled for the end of November.
The MP Power Project
The contest is aimed at presenting the value and effectiveness of activities in the events industry and its promotion. The evaluation of projects will take into account the events creation and production, logistics, methods of achieving client/campaign objectives, and the results and deliverables of these activities. The projects are to demonstrate the power and reach that broadly-understood events marketing tools give to the clients and their message.
From the applications sent, the jury will first select the nominated contestants, and then the laureates, announcing winners in the following categories:
- Events – subcategories: product premiere, brand promotion, company event, campaign integrated with events marketing, other forms
- Incentive – subcategories: incentive travel, loyalty programme employing incentive travel, motivational programme employing incentive travel, an integrated incentive marketing campaign
- Congress
- Active outdoor campaign
- Catering
- Multimedia elements
- CSR in the events industry
The MP Power Awards – Power 12
On the basis of nominations presented by the editorial staff of MeetingPlanner.pl, the jury will single out the most prominent personalities in terms of their professionalism and activities in the industry, in twelve categories (fields):
- Meeting planner – events agency
- Meeting planner – incentive-travel agency
- Meeting planner – DMC
- Meeting planner – PCO
- Corporate meeting planner – marketer
- Corporate meeting planner – purchasing department
- Meeting planner – association
- Supplier – venue
- Supplier – multimedia
