14th CEAS-ASC Workshop (Council of European Aerospace Societies) will be held at the Institute of Aviation in Warsaw, between 7-8 October 2010. Szkolmax – PCO recommended by CBP – provides all service connected with this conference. The decision to hold a conference in Poland was taken in September 2009, during the meeting of CEARES project coordinators in Bukarest. Then Szkolmax presented the most interesting offer of its organisation, which was the response to RfP sended by CBP to its recommended PCO.14th CEAS-ASC Workshop, also including 5th Scientific Workshop of X3-NOISE, will be held under the project CEARES (Central-European Aeronautical Research Initiative). The project is carried out in order to create a network of research organisations of airlines in Central and Eastern Europe.
The programme of the workshop will embrace issues of development and noise reduction generated by propellers and open-rotors. Among the speakers gets Edmane Envia (NASA), Yves Delrieux (ONERA, the French Aerospace Lab) and Arne Stuermer (DLR, the German Aerospace Lab). These workshops will focus environmental scientists and engineers from aerospace industry. In addition workshops are a remarkable opportunity for students and young researchers who want to widen their knowledge in this field.
