On 20 January 2012 Warsaw’s Pepsi Arena will be hosting the Personality of the Year Gala organised by the trade magazine MICE Poland. The Personality of the Year is an award granted to outstanding figures in the meetings industry, who are actively involved in its development, and whose professionalism makes a difference. It is one of the most important events of the Polish meetings industry, each year attracting professionals from the whole country.
The award is presented in the following categories:
- Client
- Organiser
- Venue Manager
Among the applications sent by readers, the organisational committee picks 30 nominations, of which the Jury singles out three winners to be officially honoured during the Gala. It will be the first time that MPI Poland Club – the Gala’s professional patron – will be presenting its own award. The MPI Poland Discovery of the Year title will be given to a person distinguished by extraordinary initiative and a constant drive for development and education.
