Rail Away spotlights the world’s most awe-inducing rail journeys, with each episode boasting great viewing figures and inspiring Dutch travellers.

The show’s producers chose Dolny Śląsk out of many other options available in Poland. Their stay inspired an episode on the country, which will showcase the most picturesque rail routes in the discussed region and its most attractive railway stations. Major cities and tourist highlights will round out the offer: Wrocław, Wałbrzych, Jelenia Góra, Karpacz and Szklarska Poręba plus the Church of Peace in Świdnica, the Museum of Industry and Railway in Silesia in Jaworzyna Śląska, Książ Castle and the Palace of Marianna Orańska.

The stay was arranged by Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna – POT) in cooperation with the Lower Silesian Tourist Organisation, Municipality of Wrocław, and the Marshall Office of the Lower Silesia Voivodeship.

The episode on Dolny Śląsk is expected to premiere in January 2020.
