PTO promoted the outdoor tourism offer at Beijing workshops

At the beginning of August, industry workshops with focus on the Polish offer of active tourism for high-budget customers were held in Beijing. The event was attended by 40 travel agents operating in Beijing and northern China.

The workshops respond to China’s growing interest in active tourism and relaxation amid nature.

Offers presented during the event were centred on active leisure opportunities around the biggest cities, which were most visited by Chinese tourists before the pandemic. Familiarising the Chinese industry with the Polish offer of active tourism will make it possible to make the previous offers, based mainly on visiting Polish cities, more attractive, resulting in longer stays of Chinese tourists in Poland.

Three Chinese travel agencies took part in the discussion panel: UTOUR Travel Group, HCG Travel Group, and China Tourism Group. The HCG agency presented its experience in organising trips to Poland over the last two years for the Chinese diaspora living in the United States. The representative of Zhongxin discussed the tourist offer to Poland from before the pandemic, which included visits to Polish mountains. The China Tourism Group representative discussed the changes their company intends to introduce in its product offer.
