The four-day long event is the discussed market’s exclusive point of reference for tour operators handling groups predominantly interested in an in-depth lesson in history and archaeology. TourismA hosts increasingly numerous meetings and acts as an experience exchange platform for all types of organisations and cultural associations arranging group tours dedicated to tourism of this kind. This year’s edition of TourismA involved more than 35 lectures and thematic workshops.

Taking into consideration the prominence of cultural tourism among Italian travellers, the involvement of Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna – POT) acted as a one-of-a-kind opportunity to showcase the diverse Polish offer of intriguing archaeological sites and landmarks that recently joined the UNESCO World Heritage List.
