POT presented Poland’s top tourist highlights at World Travel Show 2019

World Travel Show international tourist trade show, one of the most important events for everyone interested in travelling to our region of Europe, was staged on 18-20 October. For the fourth time in a row the show was held in Ptak Warsaw Expo in Nadarzyn. The Polish national stand was visited by thousands of travel enthusiasts.

Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna – POT) applied this year’s edition of the trade show to promote, i.a. laureates of the 2018 POT Certificates competition for top tourist product, including Warsaw Rising Museum, the golden certificate winner. The stand also displayed videos created by POT to introduce the offer of top contenders involved in the project “There is no place like the countryside – 12 good practices of rural tourism”. Last but not least, laureates of the Polish Tourist Brands initiative were the subject of a comprehensive exhibition.

Visitors could learn more about the seventh edition of the “POLAND SEE MORE – WEEKEND AT HALF PRICE” undertaking, whose finale is scheduled for 22-24 November.

Finally, the Polish national stand had no shortage of competitions and quizzes with awards, which proved hugely popular especially among the youngest spectators. Guests could also take a trip into the world of virtual reality thanks to spherical films showing, i.a. UNESCO-listed venues, the impressive cultural heritage of our country and the beauty of Polish national parks.
