POT co-organises V4’s workshop in Paris

Staged in Paris by Polish Tourism Organisation and Czech Tourism, a workshop for the Visegrád Group (V4) discussed joint efforts planned by its member states in 2020.

The Embassy of the Czech Republic acted as the event’s host, while Poland was represented by tour operators: New Poland, Intercrac, Jan-Pol, Promenada, Furnel, 4Travel, Poland Colors, Destination Pologne and LOT Polish Airlines. In addition, many tourism professionals arrived from the two other Visegrád Group member states. In total, the imposing rooms of the Czech embassy hosted more than 200 attendees.

The workshop provided an opportunity to discuss 2020 projects, including those based on joint promotional undertakings. Representatives of companies from Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia met with French tourism industry delegates and journalists. Jan Herget, Managing Director with Czech Tourism, arrived from Prague to attend the meeting.

Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna – POT) and its Czech partner have been working together in the French market for a long time now. Among the initiatives planned for this year, mention is due to fam trips aimed at French media, which will cover both Prague and Wrocław. InterRail will collaborate on the project with the two destinations.
