Attended by Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna – POT), the Budapest-based Polish Days were held on 24-25 September. Staged in the Great Market Hall in the Hungarian capital, the event was aimed at promoting Polish culture, handicraft, cuisine and tourist highlights.

As the Great Market Hall is a popular option among both Budapest residents and foreign tourists, it makes it possible to reach customers from Hungary and other countries. POT dedicated a part of its stand to present information about Polish cities, UNESCO-listed attractions, nature, castles and rural tourism.  Attractions added to the UNESCO list and cities such as Kraków, Warsaw, Zakopane and Tarnów attracted most attention.
