“Poland. Spice up your travel!”, the new food-themed campaign of Polish Tourism Organisation, is intended to encourage tourists from Western Europe and Russia to enjoy a culinary tour of our country. A trip of this sort offers a great way to explore Polish traditions from the perspective of cuisine.

The campaign is aimed at the residents of Germany, Norway, Sweden, the UK and Russia, who are particularly interested in using a culinary angle to get to know Poland. Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna – POT) cooperates with Regional Tourist Organisations and municipal authorities on implementing activities connected with the campaign. Information about concrete cities and regions, such as Pomorze (Pomerania) and the Tri-City, Małopolska and Kraków, Dolny Śląsk (Lower Silesia) and Wrocław, Poznań, Warsaw, as well as Łódź will reach particular countries. The message will be matched to the interests of the residents of a given market.

Corresponding localized versions of the polska.travel website feature special tabs allowing travellers to become familiar with the food and tourist offer of particular cities and regions. They include photographs and articles connected with cities, regions and, most of all, everything food-related. In addition, website visitors will be able to book their stay in a given city right away by using an online reservation system.

Operations scheduled as part of the “Poland. Spice up your travel!” campaign will take place in August-October 2019. The initiative is supposed to showcase Poland as a destination that is not only intriguing for all tourists but also a source of appetizing inspiration.
