Poland at BIT exhibition in Milan

For three days starting with Sunday 9 February, Poland presented its offer at BIT in Milan. The region of Dolny Śląsk (Lower Silesia) attended the exhibition for the first time along with one of its most noteworthy must-sees – Książ Castle.

Italy’s second largest travel exhibition is aimed at the industry, with its first day open to general public and the remaining two days focused on events dedicated to professionals representing the travel sector.

The exhibition offers a wide range of side events and B2B options, including the My Matching match-making system, LEISURE and MICE exhibition projects, and segments dedicated to concrete tourism sectors: I Love Wedding, BIT4JOB and BETECH.

For the first time in the case of the discussed market the Polish stand presented Dolny Śląsk together with one of its most noteworthy highlights – Książ Castle. Visitors acknowledged the diversity of the region thanks to a tasting session of local products staged at the stand alongside a brief presentation and a multimedia competition, whose winners received packages of gadgets connected with Dolny Śląsk. The Polish presence also encompassed LOT Polish Airlines and Kraków-based Ivotrans tour operator.

The latest edition of BIT was attended by more than 40,000 visitors, showcased the offer of 1,300 exhibitors from 100 countries and featured more than 100 conferences.
