Meeting of the Polish and Indonesian tourism industries

Spotkanie z indonezyjską branżą

At the end of September, a meeting took place between representatives of the Polish and Indonesian tourism industry, under the name: “Polish-Indonesian hybrid event for the tourism industry”. The organisers were the Polish Tourism Organisation and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. The event was attended by Rafał Szlachta, president of the POT. 

Meeting with the Indonesian industry

The meeting took place in a hybrid, on site & online formula. The main goal of the Polish Tourism Organisation and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in Jakarta was to present the potential of tourism arriving in Poland from Indonesia.

The Polish industry was represented by the following tour operators: Poland Tour, Furnel Travel Int., Jan-Pol Incoming Tour Operator, Mazurkas Travel Poland and Supertour DMC. On the Indonesian side, the meeting was attended by the largest and most important local tour operators. Guests of honour were the Polish Ambassador to Indonesia Beata Stoczyńska, chargé d’affairs of the Indonesian Embassy in Warsaw Taufiq Lamsuhur and the president of the POT, Rafał Szlatcha.

During the meeting, participants from Indonesia learned about the most important tourism products Poland offers to foreign tourists and the profiles of Polish agencies participating in the meeting. Our industry, in turn, learned about the characteristics of the Indonesian market for international tourism.

All participants expressed their deep satisfaction with the meeting. The Polish Tourism Organisation hopes that the established contacts will contribute to the growth of incoming visits from Indonesia to Poland.
